My name is Jessi. I'm a 26-year-old Cancer currently residing in Lawrence, Kansas with my wife Lindsey and our 'kids' - three cats, seven rats, a budgie, and a peach-faced lovebird.
I am an avid writer currently stuck working full-time as a manager in retail to pay the bills. Some day, I hope to quit my job and just write my little heart out... but that's not for the forseeable future. I mostly write fantasy, although I've been dappling in young adult fiction a bit, too.
When I'm not writing, you can often find me hanging out on Subeta, Neocolours, or Ragnarok Online (iRO Iris Server!).
Other than that, my interests include video games (especially Pokemon and Phoenix Wright), reading, cooking, and researching things like rat welfare, pet food nutrition, and the kind of crappy additives that are in most human foods that I try to avoid. I'm a complete hippy at heart and perhaps a little too liberal at times. I'm obsessed with urban decay and things like abandoned train stations, dead malls, and closed amusement parks fascinate me. I love a wide variety of music, especially J-Pop and Indie Rock, but I'll listen to pretty much anything once. I have an unhealthy obsession with bubble tea.
