I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you to those who nominate any of my pets for the spotlight; You have no idea how big of a compliment I consider that and just how dearly I appreciate your nominations. Especially coming from this particular community. However, I am not a "spotlight" person of any kind, and so I have hidden the links on my pet's pages. I obviously can't stop you from going around this, and I wouldn't, but the actual spotlight doesn't even matter to me. Just seeing my pets nominated is enough to let me finally feel satisfied with all of the work that I have put into them, and I really can't thank all of you enough for that and for your understanding.

I love this site. I always have, and I always will. The actual site seems to just be getting better and better, but I'm sad to say that the community is finally reaching the point of descent that I always feared it would. Once a site gets this big, it's inevitable. I honestly admire the people I have been able to tentatively make friends with, and I'll never actually leave, not after all I've put into it... But I'm not going to be active on the forums at all anymore, most likely. I'm tired of seeing the opinionated and elitist attitudes, where people can't leave well enough alone and just can't let other people be happy. I'm tired of seeing it, I don't want to be part of it.... and I don't have to. So I'm just going to keep to myself and passively continue working on my pets as I see fit. That's all I joined for, and that's all I need. Drama does nothing for the soul, and I hope one day more people realize that.
