I love the set-up, I think it's great. Obviously, it will take some time for me (and apparently everyone else) to get used to. The only suggestions I can make right now, since I haven't surfed every single page to find glitches or problems I may have, is to change the blue links and blue table headers to something that matches the layout such as green or even brown. Then again, I am just anal about things like that and want it to match 100%, hah. Great job, you guys, I can see that you put a lot of time and effort into it. I just wish people weren't being such little brats about the change. :

I'd like to see an option to change how wide the layout is. Like three options from wide, slim and one in between. The site looks... Pretty bad on some pages on higher resolutions. o-o At least IMO.

The new layout is definitely pretty and makes navigating easier but is there really no way that we'll be able to customize pet profiles anymore? Designing my pets was a large part of why I come on subeta....

would you ever let them tell you love is nothing but a hoax?

I really don't like how small the text is on here now and the fact after every page I load I have to click back to the dashboard. I wish the events still displayed independently from the shoutbox area.

click on prefs than customize sidebar. Then you can choose if you want to have the dashboard or the events on your sidebar. Or choose smart and it switches to events when you will get an alert or a ping

It looks amazing! It's gonna take some time to get used to it, but it's really an improvement compared to the old lay-out I do agree with SPITE though, there's a lot of space between the items in the shops.

No, they were just cleared/saved because the old codes won't work with the new layout. You'll just have to add it back and get new CSS.

Oh...Oh god okay I love this. Like seriously. I love the fact that there's a widjet that tells you how many of each quest you've done. And that all the widjets you can keep on the sidebar, you can just keep it hidden until you need it. And that you don't have to scroll over your username to see your avatar anymore. A-and the friends feed. AND that you don't have to click a bunch of times just to get to your subscribed threads or to edit your profile. The front page is sexy too, not just the news page.
AND. I DON'T HAVE A HUGE BLOCK OF BLACK ON THE RIGHT SIDE. YAY.

Sorry I'm just bursting with joy over this layout. XD

Only thing I'm bummed about is that you can't change it from green. I miss my bloodred layout. :C

Okay yeah I just found the layout in preferences and I'm happy now. Eh-heeeee*uses Masquerade to see all the blue and shiny gold~*

I don't like it. All I am on this site to do is build on my pets, and now I can't even use overlays or post art on their page. This is a pet site and it looks like were all but getting rid of them. I worked really hard and spent a lot getting pet profiles and overlays and now it's all for waste :/

i love the new layout, but its SUUUUUUUPER stretched on my huge widescreen monitor! another thing that's weird, is that in the news, a lot of the text overlaps with the lines below it. not fully overlaps, but the lines are so close it can be hard to read, and this didn't happen in the old layout. i'm using the latest ff, but it happens in IE as well.

I posted this as a comment in the news thread because I'm an airhead. Blah.

I love the layout, don't get me wrong, but it looks really bad on my monitor because I have a larger one and it is extremely hard to focus with it all stretched out. :/ Yes I can minimize my window but then it interferes with whatever else I might have open in another tab. If there was a way we could fix it, that'd be great.

Okay, an edit.. my friend gave me a CSS code to snap it down myself. <3

I'd also like the option to have the dashboard on the right side of the page rather than the left, I'm so used to having the actual bulk of Subeta more left-centered, with events and such on the right. It's odd with it being flipped.

it honestly sucks that you can't use pet profiles, the whole overlay stuff
now a lot of people, who make money with that, don't have a bussiness anymore(me for example)
and people waisted a lot of sp on the overlays, now they realize it.
but the other stuff is awesome^^ except that I've got to change my profile now
if you guys could have the pet profiles on the site, that would be perfect!

The top header is very pretty and professional-looking. Navigation being on the right-hand side is kind of icky, but I'll probably get used to it. The dashboard is waaay too busy looking, but it's customizable and that's great.

What I don't like is the width of the layout. My resolution is pretty big, so the site has changed from 'landscape' format to 'portrait' format. 'Portrait' is much easier to read. 'Landscape' is irritating on the eyes. If there's still such a thing as custom CSS I'm going to make the layout narrower. :|

Also, I don't think this layout was created with my resolution in mind. The top header ends miles before the navigation does. * That's been fixed.

I just don't like fluid layouts. xD

I like it a lot. Variable width ftw!

The only complaint I have is that I wish events were a widget on the dashboard, so I don't have to click to switch back and forth. I like to save some alerts sometimes so using the "Smart" setting means it's almost always displaying "Events" and I have to click "dashboard" every time I want to check how much sP I have or something.

I like having all the information displayed and available without excess clicking.

I don't like that my custom CSS is pretty much gone. |:
I worked all weekend messing around with it to get it the way I wanted on my pet profiles, and now its not there.

Its nice to look at, but so was the old layout imo.
Actually, I found it easier to have the whole menu only one click away on the left bar, also the menu is a bit slow-loading with my lower connection (which im not using now^^).
Lastly, the top bar takes more height than before, so i have to scroll down for anything I do (mainly with items, i.e. feeding, putting into collections etc.) ><

Well, enough complaints. It`s great to see Subeta evolving, and everything still seems functional.

I second the News Alerter idea.
Also it would be awesome if we could "close" the "D&E or (Dashboard and Events).

What I mean is; Have an "x" at the top right corner that would slide the "D&E" to the left, closing it completely. When the D&E was closed it would re-center the page.

Everything else looks great and am very happy with the outcome. So everyone involved gets a great job from me!

Lagging badly, and I HATE the way the lines of text stretch all the way across the screen. On my computer, one line of text is almost 8 or 9 inches long. It's tiring to read straight across for so long. ;.;

The thing I don't like is the forum on my wide screen. I think it was easier to read when everything was on the side and not so stretched. And I think it will be more difficult to restock now because of the strech. But I like the new features at the left side.

I really LOVE this layout I do, but I really hope it gets streamlined as time goes on and gets faster, because it's very slow to load. I don't know if this is just my computer, but I have a good one, it's less than a year old and has a good processor, and Subeta still loads slow.

I LOVE the customizable layouts, I think the art is beautiful and it will be so fun to change them for the seasons.

I think you guys did a great job, and I look forward to the site evolving more and changing. It's so exciting to see it grow and grow, and I'm happy to stick by it.

I hate to say it but I prefer the old layout. I literally just finished getting all of my pet profiles/overlays to work and now everything's botched. It really blows. This layout is kind of confusing to navigate. I wish I had the option to use the old layout and my old CSS. Maybe it would have been better if it wasn't such a drastic change... and if it didn't mess with each users personal touches (like pet pages, etc).

All of my pet's coding got cleared so I am NOT a happy camper. If there is any way to get it back I'd love to know. (I only saved some of it)

Also, like others, this lags weirdly and the forum posts are stretched annoyingly wide on my screen. Overall It's more bothersome in my opinion.

The graphics are lovely though.
