What Not To Wear

These are in no way ordered, just literally in the order that they were added. We have, just to keep with above theme, tried to use the orange and white/grey color scheme as best we can, though some items do not follow this.

Seasonal What To Wear

Since we all know that there are a number of beautiful items released in events that are still fairly cheap, we've added in a little bonus section for you to hold these items. Expect them to change as new events roll around and older items inflate.

I dunno about the horns. I've seen them in a lot of HAs, often with at least mediocre success. are a definite good, along with... Irk. So many of my favorite items have inflated. I'll be back with some more goodie suggestions.

I'm personally not a very big fan of the dragon horns. They seem pretty bulky to me. I don't think I've ever used them on an HA that I liked.

I can see the popularity of the snowflakes though, even if I (once again) rarely if ever use them. I'll see about getting a second opinion. C:

And feel free to post the items. Inflation is understandable.

What about these? Along with the Pink wind and Etched heart, there are a couple of other shirts that are all super nice.

The firecracker earrings don't restock in the main shops. Nor do the pirate boots.

I agree on the snowflakes and casual ties. They're really nice items.

If more people think the Morticlaw should be on the avoid list, I'll add it.
Unless Vince wants to put it on the debatable list first.

I think that can be added staight to the avoid list. xD

But yeah, anything else that has been -from now on- I'll add to the debatable lists, and then if anymore agree they can be upgraded.

Very much agree on those claws. They're no bueno. Ever.

I also agree with the upgrading instead of moving straight to WTW and WNTW lists. Keep it nice and organized. C:

I would like to add my approval for the ties though! Also, if we were to put up a 'not available in shops' section of cheap and useful items, I'd have to agree with the easter feathers, fireside earrings and necklaces, and pirate boots.

Alright, I added the Morticlaw to the WNTW list.

I think a list like that would come in handy.
Though items like those might inflate eventually. But I guess then it's a list for newbies with items they can save up for?

Like the idea, but my only issue would be the post limit. Though perhaps it could be a list for cheap seasonal items? That way even though they may inflate they can be purchased cheaply when they are released, etc. xD

Wellllll~ I did end up making the first post after the last official post, so that could be turned into a seasonal section if we needed more space. I'm unintentionally smart, yo. But there are quite a few items that could definitely be mentioned there.

Hey, I'm new to HAs myself, but I think that these should be on the What to Wear list. They're easy to work with for beginners, look nice and aren't too pricey.

Great job!
I have some suggestions & opinions:
i think that the daisy skirt is a WTW debatable.
also the tie dye pants are debatable but the
shirts are WNTW for me.

The slacks for me are WTW debatable like the
blue jeans and short shorts.

That's all I have to say for now.

At present I don't believe that there are any foreground items listed and all background items are listed under 'Other'.

As long as they restock in the main shops, I guess it's okay for this list. xD
They'd probably go in 'other', since the background items are listed there~
Just make sure they're suitable for newbies. xP I mean, I don't seen newbies using the Aurora Borealis in a good way. xD

I rather like the feathery boas. They're great.
Except that dreaded pink one. Ugh.
you can layer them behind everything.

I personally agree with you, if layered correctly they can look like an effective feather collar, the only issue is how newbies would use it, unfortunately those that i have seen use it, well they ain't to good. D;

So true, but I did see a newbie, and they created a smart design: Layering it under a strapless dress, and the only problem would be the trickiness of it.

I also love the White tank top over the black shrug. It look like a t-shirt.

the white hooded jacket and white buttoned jacket can sometimes be good items. the hooded one is the only affordable option for a jacket than hangs open, that you do not have to cover your shirt. the buttoned jacket comes in that reddish color (forget the name) but it is nice and matches with a lot of the popular more pricey items on subeta.

also, i SO vote party dress onto the goodlist. i almost ALWAYS wear mine.
(and the mesh shirts are good layer-ers)

Keep in mind this is coming from a semi-newbie, but I think there is something to be said for the trenchcoat and angelic cardboard wings. They have a lot of potential, but I personally haven't seen many fellow noobs wearing them. I suggest adding them to the WTW debatable list. Although I'm unsure even about that.

I suggest moving pompom hats to the WTW list and moving Shinwa wig to the WNTW list (god, I hate that thing). I also personally like the striped sweaters and cropped jackets, think that shepherdess shoes are okay, and plain dislike the elegant sleeves or tie dye anything.

And last but not least the new items such as the flirty miniskirts, big fuzzy scarfs, and low rise jeans are all lovely but that one should wait for the prices to deflate first.

Personally, I am a huge fan of the Black Boots and couldn't see my wardrobe complete without them in it. However, I understand that they are hard to layer underneath many pants...which is why I use them with skirts or shorts. Regardless though, they are cheap and rather easy to match...not to mention that sometimes you just need a good pair of chunky boots.

Thanks for providing a really great list for all the new players out there, there was a lot of time spent into the evaluation of the items; excellent work!

I shall prod Lolli about the new items.

Elegant sleeves and the tie dies shall be added to the WNTWD, as for the trenchcoats and cardboard wings the art is somewhat outdated compared to the rest of the system, and the coat covers three areas, arms, chest and legs, anything that covers to or more layers is generally hard to layer.
